About Elly
Elly Gerritsen-Kornet is curious in contact, seeking connection and gives people the time to discover themselves in a creative and sensitive way. As someone with lived and professional experience in giftedness, she currently works as a coach for highly gifted (young)adults who are struggling at work at Hoogbegaafd in Bedrijf (Gifted in Business).
She has been working with gifted youngsters and adults for 17 years and has been trained as a gifted specialist to guide creative gifted individuals who are at risk of dropping out of mainstream systems. Elly started her career in 2007 as a musicologist with a minor in theatre and dance dramaturgy, worked in the opera and dance world. As a music and general arts teacher in secondary schools, she taught creative gifted classes for more than 10 years. Since 2020 Elly works as a trainer, speaker and coach in the gifted work field collaborating with a wide range of organizations advising and teaching them about talent development and giftedness.
